Catherine Peulvé has been a lawyer with the Paris Bar since 1994 and principally acts in litigious commercial and banking matters, both domestic and international. She is also involved in matters of companies in difficulties and has a profound knowledge of post-merger and acquisitions litigation.  She created her firm in 2007 and full of her knowledge of judicial and arbitral jurisdictions, has enhanced her dispute resolution practice with mediation.  She regularly acts as mediator and occasionally as an arbitrator in domestic or international. disputes between companies or shareholders.  

She formerly practised as Counsel with the firm Cleary Gottlieb Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP that she joined in 1998, after having spent seven years within the litigation and arbitration department of the firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, including one year in London.   These Anglo-American experiences gave her clarity and consistent know-how, allowing her to work in both French and English, together with a wide network of correspondents, both in France and abroad.  

She launched her professional career by winning first place in the “Freshfields – Les Échos” Competition (1990)

Catherine Peulvé est avocat au Barreau de Paris depuis 1994 et exerce principalement en matière de contentieux commercial et bancaire, domestique et international. Elle intervient également en matière d'entreprises en difficulté et dispose d’une connaissance approfondie des litiges post-fusions et acquisitions. Elle a ouvert son cabinet en 2007 et forte de sa connaissance des juridictions judiciaires et arbitrales, elle a enrichi sa pratique de la résolution des litiges par la médiation. Elle intervient régulièrement en qualité de médiateur et ponctuellement en qualité d’arbitre dans les conflits interentreprises ou entre actionnaires, domestiques et internationaux.

Elle a auparavant exercé en qualité de Counsel au sein du cabinet Cleary Gottlieb Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP qu’elle avait rejoint en 1998, après sept ans passés au sein du département contentieux et arbitrage du cabinet Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, dont une année à Londres. Ces expériences anglo-américaines lui ont apporté une grande rigueur et un solide savoir-faire, lui permettant de travailler aussi bien en français qu’en anglais, sans compter un large réseau de correspondants, tant en France qu’à l’étranger.

Elle a commencé sa carrière professionnelle en remportant la première place du Concours « Freshfields – Les Échos » (1990)
